A Random Library Tip

To remove melted crayon from scissors, knives, and other surfaces: Boil water. Dip the item in quickly. Wipe off with paper towel. It works!

To get crayon of a rug: place paper towels, slightly moistened, over crayon wax. Iron.

I've never actually tried this, though.

But I did give you an award over at my blog!

I'll second Charlotte's recommendation. I've gotten crayon out of lots of stuff with an iron. Depending on the surface (like scissors, a waxed paper layer can actually help!

Congrats on the award ... I couldn't agree more.
