I Can Read Carnival

The August I Can Read Carnival will be hosted here! You can drop off your links in the comments any time, posts written throughout the past year are great! Reviews and other posts related to beginning and early readers are welcome!

Check out a couple of the other I Can Read Carnivals to get an idea of what we're looking for:
July 2011 at The Cath in the Hat
June 2011 at Secrets and Sharing Soda

I'll be excepting links through August 27 and the Carnival will be posted August 28.

I'm an author/illustrator and have just received my first national INDIE Award of Excellence for my picture book, based on lyrics to a song I wrote entitled, "Red, White and Blue."

This would be the perfect resource for teachers as we approach the 10th anniversary of 9-11 and observe Patriot's Day.

I blog about winning the award here: http://rainbowswithinreach.blogspot.com/2011/08/indie-excellence-winner.html

I just put up an author interview video: http://rainbowswithinreach.blogspot.com/2011/08/author-interview.html

I would love to be part of your series! Especially so this month.

Given all the flies in our house lately, I though we might as well read a book, or two, or series about the pest.

The Fly Guy series by Tedd Arnold:
