- A survival/animal story. Technically, even though they live in a zoo, dolphins are still wild animals.

- Roberta sings the praises of this marvelous celebration of frogs
- Kate and Pippin by Martin Springett at Perogies and Gyoza
- If you're all about animal friendships, this story of a bond between a dog and a fawn will make you awwwww.

- A review of a DK book about Kennedy with some personal comments from the blog author.
- Two titles by Deborah Hopkinson about Marian Anderson and Matthew Henson at A Teaching Life
- Tara not only has some information on these two historical picture books, she also gives a look at some happenings at NCTE.
- Noah Webster and his words by Jeri Chase Ferris at Sally's Bookshelf
- Includes some interesting ideas for activities and other titles to pair with the book.
