This week at the library; or, week 16 of the pandemic

This is the last week we plan to follow the "teams" model and it's also a short week because of the holiday. Local restaurants continue to close, and we have more local testing sites, so we'll see what happens. Due to the rising cases, and to give staff and patrons time to adjust, we made the decision not to open any additional areas in the library this week or next week, so right now it's just the main entrance area (circulation/info desk, displays, paperbacks, holds, self-checkout), large print, and upstairs our computers and audiobook room.

In addition to working at the desk, answering questions, etc. I processed and checked in over 200 new items, continued working on the new and updated maker kits, organized and packed 80 art grab bags for next week, worked on the plan for the fall, wrote reports, ordered supplies, and other sundry things.
