In my experience, the European versions tend to be more true to the original story and less likely to water down the violence.Jenniferhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05096787155616041727noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-915041119468051754.post-50845114181934365402012-01-04T04:28:46.528-06:002012-01-04T04:28:46.528-06:00Hi, can i ask you something? I’m looking for children books with “scary” animal illustrations like Wolf (or fox) eating pigs (or seven kids or Red Riding hood or birds in Chicken Little) or being pictured with a fat stomach. Any sort of help is appreciated. Thanks in advance. Great blog, by the way!reesehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09842857580719767588noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-915041119468051754.post-56793101730819406222012-01-03T21:46:45.146-06:002012-01-03T21:46:45.146-06:00Hey Jennifer! Personally, I enjoy the latter - but you're right in saying that it should serve more as a supplementary material, rather than the real thing. :) Thanks for sharing these two books.GatheringBookshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04477710897574769648noreply@blogger.com
