Storytime pick for next week

 We opened the children's/teen area to browsing without appointments this week. Yes, I am aware that Wisconsin's numbers are terrible and my county is a hot spot. I am hopeful that, based on the very low numbers in our particular school district and the mostly good behavior of the kids, that we can safely allow browsing. However, we are standing by with our stanchions to monitor entrance if necessary, especially after school.

Lots of projects to focus on this week.

• Monitoring the opening of the youth area for browsing
• Recording virtual storytimes for the rest of the year
• Planning Facebook posts for Wisconsin Science Festival next week
• Take-home activities and Facebook posts for the rest of the year
• Planning virtual school visits - coming up next week
• Sorting and processing hundreds of school requests
• Caught up on the ALSC Institute sessions concurrent to the ones I listened to live. I am completely webinar'ed out now.
