My teen services associate went to two open houses at the middle school this week. Otherwise we spent this week catching up on projects and just recovering from summer a little. I took a day off and one of the things I did was go shopping for more prize books at Half-Price Books, now that Scholastic Warehouse sales are no more. I've also got some ideas in mind for updating Reading Explorer later on. Hopefully Baker and Taylor will be back up next week - staff started cleaning up and reorganizing on Friday but we'll finish that next week, along with various other projects. I did notice that our circulation increased in August, despite having few to no programs...
