Librarian's Picks: Juvenile Nonfiction Graphics purchased in 2021

The Unsolved Case Files are not, strictly speaking, graphic novels, but illustrated narrative nonfiction. Science Comics and History Comics are probably the top choices for literary value, but for popular appeal and tight budgets, grab Show me history, which have been much in request by 5th graders at my schools. Younger readers are going for Mike Lowery's Everything Awesome and Fred and Marjorie was of special interest to my audience, since we serve a community of people with T1 Diabetes. My personal favorite were the Corpse Talk titles and I also loved Andy Warner's Oddball Histories which I personally donated.
