Pokemon Club

We started "Pokemon Club" in January of 2020, due to popular request. We only had 2 meetings before we had to stop, but we resumed in September of 2021, this time meeting in our large community room. In 2022, we expanded to meeting twice a month. We average about 25 attendees per session, ranging in age from 5 to 12, with a handful of parents.

The program lasts for an hour and requires a minimum of two staff. Additional staff for set-up and on call is helpful.

We have tables set up to play/trade/discuss cards. The program flyer says that we do not supervise trades, but I will step in if it looks like it's getting heated or there's a lot of big kids and a little kid. Some kids prefer to just stay here for the hour.

At the halfway point of the program we play a Pokemon episode on the big screen. Originally we had apples/healthy snacks available, but as of now all snacks at programs are on hold.

Crafts/Projects
These are available for the full hour. Sometimes the kids want to do them, sometimes they don't. You can see the list here.
