- Colorations ultimate art paper (leftover squares)
- liquid watercolors, ice cube trays, paintbrushes
- oil pastels
- aprons, wipes, paper towels
I adapted this from Art Workshop for Children by Barbara Rucci
How it works
I showed the kids how they could draw a design with the pastel crayon, then paint over it in watercolor and it would repel the paint and stand out. I also showed them how to blend pastels. They made a lot of cool things!
